Golden Eye Rogue Agent

Okay, i've been playin this on hard right from the start and i must say its not easy, but not impossible either. the game is fun, using the ds stylus interaction to aim and the L1 and R1 buttons to shoot. quite fun indeed. cant wait to fire up some wifi play. if only i knew where to find people with ds!

i know, i'll start a trend outside the arcades!

everyone bring ur nintendo ds to the mall and we'll game right outside the arcades to announce our independence from coin operated machines!! we want social gaming, not monkey interaction with a machine. make your money else where!!

oh, and to someone out there. make me a thumbglove that works on the DS. that little thumb pad it comes with just doesnt cut it and in the most intense gaming it'll fall loose and i die!!!

Open Source Hybrid Tour Cars

Slashdot: News for nerds, stuff that matters: "'BBC News has a story about electrically powered tourist cars in Cordoba which provide tourist information in French, English and Spanish as landmarks are passed. The promoter, Alfredo Romeo, calls them Blobjects which he heard described in a speech by Bruce Sterling. The car's tourist guide software is open source - Romeo's quoted reason: 'With proprietary software, innovation comes from the people in marketing. But with open source, innovation comes from the guy who is really in the market. It comes from someone who knows the city.'"

PS3 -Grid power to the max

Listen, and listen carefully. The PS3 will begin a revolution in gaming. The new cell processor with broadband connection will create a gaming grid of computing power unseen in history. Sony will be able to game super high speed online. Xbox won't match, why, 'cuz it doesn't have the architecture to compete. So don't be fooled, ya'll been warned. No to the XBoxShitty, yes to PS3.

Ok, now this is the smack down!! Don't you hate those CIOs who have no clue??

Slashdot: News for nerds, stuff that matters: "'Laura DiDio, research fellow at the Yankee Group, published a column this morning in which she discusses key findings from a new survey on the total cost of ownership of Windows vs. Linux. DiDio often is written off by the Linux camp as being pro-Microsoft, but she offers excellent, neutral advice for any IT department considering a fundamental systems switch: 'If you do not know what is on your network, if you cannot at least estimate the hourly, monthly or yearly cost of downtime, if you do not know how long it takes to recover from a security outage, if you cannot answer questions about the extent of your company's license compliance, then you cannot truly evaluate whether Linux, Windows or Unix is right for your business. Chances are, if you cannot answer most or all of those questions, it does not matter what operating system you have because ignorance of the core TCO tenets means that your business is not getting the most out of its networks.' PacMan created....

Slashdot: News for nerds, stuff that matters: "Rogueywon writes 'The UK's Times newspaper has a featured interview with Toru Iwatani, creator of Pac-Man. The article offers an insight into the inspiration behind the old arcade classic and reflects on the lack of material gain that the franchise has brought to its creator.' From the article: 'Iwatani sits down and tells the whole story, starting exactly 26 years ago when a 24-year-old Namco programmer strolled into a now demolished restaurant in central Tokyo, called Shakeys. It was here that he ordered the marguerita pizza that, with one slice removed, provided the visual inspiration for Pac-Man's famous profile. '"
