try this phone...

if only sprint had a phone like this.. i have a sony ericsson w600 phone from cingular. not bad.. has a mp3 player, a radio tuner, digital camara, video cam, all sort of web interaction with a truly gifted IM interface, what lovely experience this phone is. a sophisticated phone, truly an aficionada pick for the exquistist interaction with technology. good job whoever thought this one up.. my only wish is that sprint had it. so far cingular has been a lukewarm experience...

Wireless Broadband Internet??

Right now I'm posting using AOL's BIVA service in Puerto Rico. that's broadband internet via air (www.bivapr.com). it's not bad. it moves rather well. i have the 512 download and CNET Bandwidth meter gets it at 586. good performance. the only thing is it doesnt do well with concrete and low attitudes. which kinda sucks seeing that i live on the bottom floor of an apartment building made of extra think concrete. so i have it out my window sitting on top of my a/c unit. there it gets some sizzling download speed, but from the window sill it crawls at 128 to 256. which makes me pray for good weather. jeje.

but the bonus is the portability. think about it. i can have a wireless broadband connection anywhere in the metro area. i'm dying to try it out. maybe i'll set up some wifi hotspots unexpectedly.

2005 Spike TV Video Game Awards - Award show review Review

2005 Spike TV Video Game Awards - Award show review Review: "11:37 – Vin Diesel is presenting an award. I really wish, after his recent movies, that was something from the Vin Diesel Fact Generator. He presents the Best Performance by a Human Female award. He keeps the speech mercifully short, apparently needing to add a few more facts to said generator. The prize goes to Charlize Theron for Aeon Flux, proving that Academy Award winners can debase themselves for a paycheck. It also shows that a game that came out four days before the prize was announced (and presumably after the voting ended) can win. Spike TV needs many things, but to play the game isn’t one of them."

Gear Factor

"We'll leave it to others to debate the age at which a child should own their first cell phone, but we applaud Verizon for launching its first kid-friendly handset. The LG Migo is a 7-button handset that holds four preset numbers. Parents can load their home, office, and mobile numbers into memory to make it easy for their children to reach them at a moment's notice. The dedicated emergency key in the center is also user-programmable. Priced at $99.99 with a two-year contract, the Migo seems a little overpriced for such a basic handset, but if you're one of the millions of working parents who could use a little extra peace of mind, this little gizmo could be priceless. Beck may have two turntables and a microphone, but we'd much rather get our hands on this Numark iDJ mixing console. Slap an iPod into each side of this thing and mix it up. The iDJ supports all types of iPods and gives you a three-band equalizer with gain control on both channels, a dedicated mic input, and a USB connection to your PC or Mac. Plus, it has a turntable receptacle on its underside so you can plop it right down on top of your existing mixing hardware. This little puppy sells for $249, which isn't bad if it works as advertised. "

The DS isn’t trying to extend your current selection of entertainment to your travels; it’s trying to introduce new ways to game.">Kotaku, the Gamer's Guide: "I think of the PSP as a device that lets you carry miniature entertainment around in your briefcase or over-sized pocket. You can watch small versions of movies, listen to MP3s and play small versions of PS2 games.
